What is Pixel Art?[]
Pixel Art is a form of digital art created by editing the canvas at a Pixel level. It has a retro aesthetic that comes from the limitations that 8 and 16 bit computers and consoles had at the time. These limitations are what make pixel art truly unique. Having a limited sprite size or pallete forces the artist to leave out small and unnecessary details and only include what is necessary to get the idea of the image across.
